1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SparkMinds website and services (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. SparkMinds is operated by TwinAI Inc., located in Belmont, MA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our Services.
2. Camp Registration & Enrollment
- Registration is completed by a parent or legal guardian (“Parent”) on behalf of a minor child (“Student”).
- By registering, you confirm that you are the legal parent or guardian of the Student.
- All information provided during registration must be accurate and complete.
- Enrollment is confirmed only upon successful payment processing.
- Camp sessions are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. SparkMinds reserves the right to cancel sessions with insufficient enrollment, in which case a full refund will be issued.
- Class sizes are capped. Once a session is full, students may join the waitlist.
3. Payment Terms
- All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of registration.
- Bundle discounts (5% for 2 camps, 10% for 4+ camps) are applied automatically.
- Coupon codes may be combined with bundle discounts unless otherwise specified.
- Prices are subject to change but will not affect confirmed enrollments.
4. Refund & Cancellation Policy
- 14+ days before camp start: Full refund minus $50 administrative fee.
- 7–13 days before camp start: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before camp start: No monetary refund. Credit issued toward a future camp session.
- Medical emergency: Full credit with a doctor's note provided within 7 days.
- Camp cancelled by SparkMinds: Full refund issued within 5–10 business days.
5. Student Code of Conduct
All students are expected to:
- Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect.
- Follow all safety rules and instructor directions.
- Use technology and AI tools responsibly and in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Refrain from bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior.
SparkMinds reserves the right to dismiss any student whose behavior poses a risk to themselves or others, without refund.
6. Technology Acceptable Use Policy
- AI tools provided during camp are for educational purposes only.
- Students may not use AI tools to generate harmful, inappropriate, or offensive content.
- Internet access during camp is filtered and monitored.
- Students may not attempt to bypass content filters or access restricted websites.
- SparkMinds is not responsible for content generated by third-party AI tools.
7. Liability & Assumption of Risk
By enrolling your child in SparkMinds camps, you acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks. You agree to release, waive, and discharge TwinAI Inc., its officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your child's participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Intellectual Property
- Students retain ownership of projects and code they create during camp.
- SparkMinds retains the right to showcase anonymized student work for promotional purposes.
- All curriculum materials, lesson plans, and proprietary content are owned by TwinAI Inc..
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TwinAI Inc.'s total liability to you for any claims arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific camp session in question.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
